Rt 235 North

Morning!! Anyone know why 235 Northbound was shut down near Wildewood earlier this morning? We had to take the back road and did't see any police activity. That was around 4:45.

I hear it from my kids all the time - "are we there yet?". Now I know why my parents told us not to say anything in the car until we got to our destination!!!

There was an accident last night (11:30-12:00) and the car took out an Electric Pole. SMECO was probably still fixing the pole.

They were probably painting the lines in the road where they added the extra lane.

Any time one of my kids asked that I told them "Yes, get out of the car".

It didn't take them long to realize that if the car was still moving, we hadn't arrived at out destination.

I still do that to my husband. I hate car trips and have a history of car sickness. I drive most of the time to avoid the sickness thing. My kids are not like that at all. They will sit in the car for hours and never once ask how much further. They do talk non-stop though so that's a downside. Husband is a talker too. I prefer to sit quietly.

They have been replacing signal lights at various places along 235 also. Just came past San Souci and they had part of the intersection blocked off for that. Guess they are upgrading to LEDs.
