Take this advice, Unless you just want to be found guity go to the St . Mary's Court House and have a talk with the lady at the States Attorney's Office.

With traffic cases you are guilty until you can prove yourself innocent and that doesnt happen often.

i don't mind paying the fine. however, i was told it was best to go to court(my court date is coming up) because chances are they'll drop the points.

Seems like a major hassle to me, unless you already have points on your license, I personally, would just pay it.

Taking off work to go to court, and then taking off work to do community service seems like more trouble than it's worth.

now you got me wondering. no, i do not have any points on my license(probably been clean for about ten years:) I have already made a "to do" list so the whole day won't be a waste. but if you're saying i probably will have to do community service in order to get the points dropped, maybe i need to rethink this.

Knock on wood... I've never had a ticket, so I can't really tell you... but I thought that was the deal - to get out of points you have to do community service.

I'm sure there's some criminals here that can correct me if I'm wrong.
