Great Mills Heating and Air Conditioning are very good but they are also very pricey. It sounds like you have a leak, most likely in your coils which can be costly to replace. Good luck and let us know who you use and the service was.

That sad part is, its a fairly new unit. We had one of those USELESS home warranty companies when we bought our house 6 years ago. They came and put in a new unit about 2 years after living here. Our old unit was a Trane, this one is a Jenn-Aire, they claimed they were "comparable". Ofcourse now we don't still have the home warranty.

We called last year the company that put it in, they said "oh well you don't have the home warranty anymore but there is a warranty on the equipment you will have to call Jenn-Air" Uh yeah, good luck with that!!!!

I did find someone locally and he charged $85.00 to come and check it out which didn't seem to bad. I have the company name at work. He was also able to come tomorrow which made it good for me although.....this time a year and A/C guy who's schedule isn't booked may be an issue!

Each year they said it needed to be charged and like this guy said "if they were charging it every year, they should have been checking for a leak"

So we will see tomorrow what this guy comes up with. Thanks again though!!!
