Well, apparently the driver did deliver to the center, it was put on a cart waitng to be put in the cage (which I can't understand why it wasn't immediately put in the cage) and POOF! it's gone. I heard that this center is fairly new. I have never had problems with UPS and never any problems with the location in Waldorf. There's really nothing now FED Ex can do, we have to contact the shipper and hopefully we will be able to get another. Seems everybody there knew what it was because the manager even said that a couple employees told him what was in it!
I didnt realize they had opened a center in Brandywine. I used to dread when anything went fedex to our house because half the time, it would take days for us to get only because it was always coming from laurel. I could never figure out why they never sent our things to waldorf for delivery, so I am glad we finally have one close to home!

You should be able to get another jersey becuase as you know the redskins are the ones that required signature confirmation and they will be able to tell that it was lost in transit (or just not delivered but attempted twice). Yours must have shipped before ours though because ours was just delivered Thursday and had the pope not been in DC, I would have been working and I may have been going through the same thing you are.

I think I would go above the manager though, because if it was known what was in the package, you have to wonder how because it wasnt advertised on the package what was inside of it, it was just a plain white envelope. Good Luck and hopefully you will be able to get a new one before Draft Day (if you are going).

I don't see how this isn't FedEx's problem. It is their problem. They are the ones that lost your package. The only way that you are going to receive any type of acknowledgement of any sort is to raise holy hell with every person you speak to - including managers.

You can ask for a claims form to be sent to you so that can be reimbursed for the product, but that's a pain in the ass process and they don't give you a full reward --- hence my advice to ##### like you've never #####ed before.

Good luck .... :)

One of the reasons to use FEDEX is that it is insured. I sent some glassware a while back through them, it arrived broken. It wasn't something purchased but commemorative pieces they asked what it was worth, I gave them an estimate and they sent me a check and refunded my shipping costs. I would have still liked to had the pieces and in the future they would have probably been worth quite a nice amount but I am happy with the FEDEX response.

They will pay for your jersey.

If it was an unmarked package but they knew what was in it, someone there opened it.

I don't order from any company that I know will be sending via FedEx Ground. The "Ground" division doesn't have regular employees, they use contractors. The contractors own their own trucks. They are not monitored as much as regular employees and they tend to do their own thing.

I ordered something for Christmas a couple of years ago. I watched the tracker and could see that it was put on the truck and returned to the warehouse twice. The reason given was "inclement weather." It wasn't raining that week between here and Beltsville (where the warehouse is), much less snowing. When I called them to tell them I was coming to Beltsville to get my package, they hemmed and hawwed and said they didn't have time to order it off the truck before the driver was supposed to take off again at 8am. I told them the dang well better, because I was coming and parking my ass in their office until I got my package.

I was one of about 20 irate customers parked in that office that day. I'd gotten there around 10am and the driver who supposedly had my package hadn't shown up yet...they found my package.

Reading this just...

Sorry, I just have to wonder if we've gone to the same place. I have been to UPS-Waldorf twice in the past 10 months to sign for packages, and each time there were several frustrated customers conversing with employees who didn't know shiat... then got an attitude about it.
