I think the team is a good thing for the area, right next to the St. Charles Sportsman Club's outdoor shooting range. The county really screwed the pooch on this one. I am still going to go to a game or two; I sure am glad the boy is a member of the BSA troop, we can park at the range and walk over.

The road "upgrade" isn't going to do a damn thing - I tried to tell them that but damn if they would not listen. The stadium is nice - beautiful from what I have seen, but again, they stuck it in a 'effed-up area.

Billingsly Road was suppose to be the counties connector from Southern Charles to Northern Charles bypassing Waldorf - and they 'effed that up as well... the way the road ends on Middletown Road and you have to make a right, then a left to go back onto Billingsly... they dropped the ball on that as well.

Yes - a bit too late now - but boy I cannot wait to hear the whining and crying in the paper of the hassle of trying to get out of that place.

It's been open since Wednesday. It's 4 lanes anything north of the stadium. Everything south to 488 is still the same 2 lane road.

Traffic is going to suck. I should be able to hear the fireworks.

Opening night was a blast.

The biggest problem was not having the parking area's ready. A number of folks had to park all the way out on Billingley Rd and hoof-it to the park. The traffic leaving was not bad though!

Because most people had to walk a couple of miles to their cars - wait until the parking lot opens!

I went sunday and was surprised at how smoothly it went. Getting out wasn't too bad at all, as long as people are nice enough to let you into "traffic" to get out of the parking lot. People just need to follow the "every other car" rule and it goes well

Traffic didn't seem bad either, and we went south

It was a fun time if anyone gets an opportunity to go

Didn't that one go 14 innings?

I went Saturday and sat in the lawn section. I've got to admit, for 6 bucks a ticket I had a pretty good time. My daughter and her friends loved the play area and I got to relax and watch a little baseball. I'm not a baseball fan, but I figure I'll go to a few more games, just to support the local team. It's a cheap famlily night out so I say..

I think it was 13 innings, I lost track once my fun meter was pegged.

My son wanted to go sit on the lawn so he could play, poor little guy was tortured in a SUITE, but loved the couch around midnight while we waited so he could watch the fireworks.

We went Sunday and sat on the lawn for $6 and it was awesome! I had sunscreen on my face, ears and neck but everything else got burnt to a crisp! It was nice and breezy up there though. We left on the last out and beat everyone out of the parking lot.

Great game and a beautiful stadium. This was our view.....
