You should make an effort not to subject others to your second hand smoke, and that includes your own children. I personally don't smoke, not saying I never have. My husband has, quit, does, quit - right now he's quit - get back to me in a month. And several of my friends smoke but all of us make a habit of not smoking around the kids. Not to say they don't see them smoke but we don't smoke in the house, car, near or in front of if possible.

I'll just jump right at your orders ma'am! Anything else while you're at it? Like not wearing fur, becoming a vegan or any abandoning any other lifestyle of which you disapprove?
