As I told Geek earlier, people will always disappoint you. God never will. A person does not go to hell for lying. They go there for not believing in Jesus and what He did for us all on the cross. Even Christians lie at times. This little girl was probably brainwashed by "legalistic" parents. Don't hold it against her.

I think the brainwashing was more from the Christian School and not so much the parents in the little girls case as I know the parents very well. I guess we will have to agree to disagree..... We could go back and forth on this all night. It is not going to change your views and it certainly won't change mine and I certainly don't hate you or dislike you for your views. The true God is defined as the creator of everything, He is called The Father, The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Together they lovingly watch everyone and everything in the hopes that we will all believe in and follow them and learn to live peacefully together. Of course that won't happen but many of us will try to help it happen. Jesus came to earth because He loves you sooo much Fugazi and He was wiilling to die for the things that you did wrong (sins). He hopes that you will follow His guidelines and spend eternity in Heaven with us Christians. This is His love and yet sooo many see it as hate. Are you staying up? If you want to, I will, if not, I'm going to sleep too.

This is the part that makes sense. God made certain people gay. All people are in His image. He has given gay people the great burden of having people using His name to hurt them. They have the hugest challenge. I pray they have strength to stay true to themselves. In time, people will understand that God loves all the people He made.

God did not create the homosexual in his own image. God gave free will and the homosexual chose to engage in those acts.

who would not intervene? I mean, what true Christian would not intervene.
A true Christian would break it up and find reason to explain to the one group of kids how God hates the sin yet tells us to love the sinner. Beating up is not the way, working to finding a cure is the way. Help, not hurt.

He would also find opportunity to try and explain to the gay kid where his life choice is most likely going to lead him not only while living, but after death.

the bottom line of this thread is that it is not the place of the school to endorse the homosexual lifestyle and they need to back away from doing so.
