I don't have enough hate in my heart to be religious.
Turn of the "emo" and start thinking Geek. Your concept of hatred and judgment is WAAYYYY off base. If I tell you that smoking is going to kill you eventually, why would you look at it as HATRED? It's the same thing Geek! If we didn't care, we wouldn't waste our time here. Wake up and knock off the "emo"!
IF you had 1/2 a clue as to what "laws" we ignore, you would also know why we do it before you "kirk out" on us, but just for you I'll show you.
3 types of Old Testament laws were made:
Ceremonial laws for religious rituals (we no longer practice most of those rituals so we don't follow those laws anymore).
Civil laws for public behavior, social (non religious) functions, personal grooming, farming, etc. (We do not do many things as they did back then due to advances in our culture, so many of those laws are no longer followed).
Moral laws. (These are the main ones that we need to keep today and always). Homosexuality IS A CHOICE and a sin. Always was, always will be.

EXACTLY!

I will not hate people for who they are. I have family and friends that happen to be gay. They are great people that wouldn't judge you. But you go right ahead and use the Bible to cause hurt and pain. You don't have to be a good person to get into heaven No wonder the religious fanatics are so excited, that is a great deal right there!!
Please read (Titus 1 vs 16). I've read some of your posts and I see little "Jesus" in them. Many of your statements are contradictory. I'm not judging your salvation but I know how I used to be. I was raised Catholic and "believed" in Jesus while I was sleeping with single & married women, drunk almost weekly and using seriously bad language. I was a good person but I was NO MORE SAVED than the man in the moon! There is a difference between believing in Jesus and being a Christian. Even satan believes in Jesus but he ain"t going to Heaven. "Mominsmc" did not say that good people don't go to Heaven, she said that being good does not get you there. BIG difference. Being "saved" and living the Christian life by believing in the One true Jesus, does. You need to learn the difference between hating the sin and hating the sinner. None of us Christians hate homos but we sure hate what they do, as does God. And we had better speak out against it or else.

People will always disappoint you, God never will. Your beef is with God not just the Catholic church. He said no women pastors and, although I do not agree with much of the CC teachings, they are correct on this one.
"What is so inherently wrong with woman"? (1 Timothy 2 vs 14 and chapter 3). They were decieved according to God and He decided that they should not be pastors or deacons. The CC ideas of what a priest is and what the "mass" represents, are concepts that went away with the death of Christ. Any true Christian is considered a priest of God. (1 Peter 2 vs 4-10)
