May Day, a long time ago, was a ball held at St. Mary's, with a May Belle being the equivalent of a prom queen. That tradition was lost during the 70s and this took its place to celebrate the coming of spring and the above.

I remember seeing a court case about this a couple of years ago..

It is indecent and illegal for a man, but not a woman. A woman's genitalia is not visible when they run/ walk naked, whereas a man's is.

That was their argument, and it won the case for a woman streaker

(I don't remember what state the case was in, probably not Maryland)

Yes, it should be expected because of how perverted people are. I have no problem with people taking pictures to put in the news...but when the pictures are used for other purposes, it kinda degenerates the purpose behind the day and event.
