Sad day in Leonardtown

What do you think about the old oak tree being cut down on Point Lookout Rd in front of St. Paul's Church?

I have to see it from now on, since I cut our cemetery.....That Southern Red Oak has to be at least 250 years old..............

I used to go to St. Joseph's Church in Pomphret and they had to cut down an old tree, but they used the wood from the tree inside the church and it was beautiful.

It's not gone completely. When by there this evening the trunk of the tree is still there with branches at the top. Looks weird.
