Years agr, before star 69, I had someone call as soon as I went outside to mow the yard, or garden. I had a 4 yo and a baby boy, so I would have to drag them in to anwer the phone. after this harrasment went on for weeks, I got sick of it, took a battery operated fire alarm, and tested it on the phone, in their ear, Guess who tha A-hole was, the woman across the street who workked for the phone company. Her ear was blown out...And she never did it again,!

Wow, why your neighbor wanted to harassed you like that for?

Glad that you blew her ears out for being "stupid".

I wondered about that for a long time, and I came to the conclusion that some people are just mean and miserable and take it out on people they perceive as helpless, or alone. My husband was out at sea when she did this.

Won't your office do something? I had a harassing caller years ago who would call in the middle of the night or very early morning and just say nothing, or hang up. I was young and switched apartments and phone numbers a lot, and somehow this jerk always found me, even when the phone was not in my name. It finally dawned on me that this was someone who knew me. When I finally had enough I called the phone company, and they said if I was willing to prosecute, they would put a trap (?) on my line and then they would be able to figure out who was calling. Funny thing is, I told a couple of people very close to me that I was about to do this, and it stopped. It made me think that this person knew the people closest to me, or was one of them!

Awesome Idea Geek.
