LUSBY (May 5, 2008) --- Calvert Sheriff Mike Evans now confirms that a man who ran from police on Friday night when neighbors called to complain about a loud party was found dead today in a lake.
Police looked for the man when he ran into woods and Sheriff Evans said that there was no reason to call out a dive team as no one at the scene heard a splash or had any reason to believe he had dived into the lake. After searching the wooded area near the party, police left without making any arrests.
Drug activity was suspected as a reason the man may have fled and on Sunday there was a report he was in St. Mary's County.....

That was or maybe still is crack house #3, here on rawhide rd.

Craberta lives up the street and has had her eye on a few of the crack houses in that area apparently (from what I gather reading other posts.)

I guess I'm just not nosy enough because how would you know the person didn't do drugs, but sold them and especially know it was because they could make more money selling crack? I wouldn't think they'd advertise this. I know the baynet said that the police was called because their was suspected drug activity, but it didn't state he was the cause of the drug activity. I just don't understand how Craberta would get all this info

I occasionally lurk (and sometimes post) on here.

My son knew this young man. All of his friends are shocked, to say the least. According to my son, this young man had lots of problems but was still a pretty decent guy and at the time of his death, was talking about turning his life around.

To me, this is sad. He's still (or was) a human being. He was somebody's son. I thank GOD my son is still alive and well. HOPEFULLY this will shake up and wake up all of this young man's friends who are still messing around with drugs before it's too late.
