My daughter is back from the desert
In one peice thank God. I hate it when she has to go there. Anyone else have someone over ther?

Yes, a few friends went over there. So far, all of them came back, but one died in the helo crash that we heard about few years ago. A local young man whose father was in the Navy and live in North Caroline right now.

tell them all thanks for keeping us free! none of my children have went but their close friends have we had one killed in april last year. every night i saw a prayer that they all come home safe and those that dont that their families know we appreciated their sacrifice

Yeah, and a great big hug for your Daughter. My deepest thanks and highest respect go out to her for her willingness to make the supreme sacrifice for our freedom here at home! My Son enlisted in the USMC a couple of years ago, but was discharged due to multiple stress fractures that wouldn't heal. He is still having problems with one leg. Though I may not agree with all of the "whats" and "wherefor's" of what is going on, I am behind any and all of our troops 150%!! God Bless her, and you!!
