I've noticed that a lot of people seem to think that when their view of the road is blocked, it means there is nothing there to see so they just pull out.
Had it happen to me the other day at Wally Mart. 2 lanes coming in, right one turning behind Checkers and the left one going straight. Lady waiting to turn toward 235, can not see any cars going straight because her view is blocked by the cars in the right lane, she ASSUMES they're all turning and pulls out.
I was in the left lane going straight, she looked very surprised when I slammed on the brakes, blew the horn and hit my high beams.
I have that happen every time I go thru there. The thought that the left lane is straight thru just doesn't cross their minds.

Lady tried to cross intersection. Lady got T-boned. Lady spun around and hit MetroCast truck sitting at end of road. Minor injuries.

Does anyone know what type of cars were involved besides that metrocast truck?

They are. Going to close off the cross-over and put a traffic light at Clark's Landing road. If you want to go north on 235 you must go to the light at Outback and u-turn. This will do wonders for backing up northbound 235 for all those u-turners.

And I was so glad to see that another entrance from Wildewood is being opened just north of Outback.

I'm glad it's minor. I'm hearing a lot of sirens out in front of my building...I wonder if there's another accident. People need to slow down in the rain.

SHA says that there is a light going up at the end of Airport View and that the intersection is in no way being closed off because Sandy Bottom Rd is not for commercial use.

It was posted that there would be a road going from the industrial park to the new light at Clarks Landing. So people can take the thru road from the Industrial Park and wait at the light.

And I haven't seen an entrance to Wildewood north of Outback. I've seen one south of the shopping center where the new apartments are going. Is this the one you speak of?

There was a "gas leak" at the Jump Yard and they called out a bunch of companies and an ambulance. Turns out it was just a pilot light on the stove.

People need to slow down period... we do not make it down that way too often, but it is starting to turn into a mini-Waldork with the way people drive.

Courtesy has gone by the wayside.
