It's not a freak show like the Osbourne's was.

I say more power to them. I could never do it, but it's great for them.

I'd rather watch a show about the Duggars with my family than any of the other crap on TV. No one should have any problem with this family. More power to them.

I have more of a problem with the woman living in the projects with 8 kids with 8 different daddies that we have to support. These are the freaks that we need to complain about.

Maybe the Duggars should have had a few babbies by a few different daddies and called it quits. That would have been much more normal. None of your points have any real value. Not one.

Me personally--just me? no I doubt I could say no. I doubt anyone would watch as it would not be at all interesting. But I just do not think I could subject my kids tio that.
What is the difference between them and the celeb pimping their new baby out to the highest bidder?

None. But I don't have a problem with that, either. I blame the people that buy the magazine, watch the TV show, and buy the books.

And there are more than a handful of people on this forum alone that have at least 4 kids. My parents came from larger families (4 kids in my mom's, 5 kids in my dad's)...

Doesn't mean I think my grandparents were any less out of their mind for having that many kids.

It's my personal opinion. If you're taking care of your 5 kids without any help from the state or federal government, then by all means, procreate your little heart out. It's when people have huge families and then rely on the state or government to help them out simply because they couldn't be bothered to use a condom or another form of birth control I've got major issues.

I know this was not to be but other than the risk to the mom's health I have no issue with the way they choice to live their lives.
I have to be honest, I have never seen the show, nor the Osbournes. Reality TV is not my cup of tea.

That is true. It is all about supply and demand in the end, right?

Are they really subjected their kids to anything bad? Should they just be left alone in front of the TV and video games? When they do these shows, I'm sure they have to work hard to put it all together. It's nothing more than a learning experience for all of them. I don't know. Maybe they beat the kids when they say the wrong thing. Maybe they burn them with cigarettes if they don't all line up just right for the camera. NOT!
