I got some at Michael's in Lexington Park last month. You have to assemble and paint or stain but it wasn't hard. They were on sale for $39.00 and look just as good as any I have seen for $100 plus in any catalog. I think the reg price on them is $59.00 which still beats everybody else. Assembly was not difficult.

Thanks everyone! I am going to drive down through Loveville today. I've been told there is an Amish greenhouse place that sells them--might be the place dixiepeach was talking about?
Then I will continue down towards California as my husband needs to go to Walmart for oil stuff for his car. Then I can check out that place in Hollywood.

Good luck with the search! Can you post an update when you find them? How much, where you wound up buying them, etc? Thanks!

Still looking....
the place in Loveville did not have what i was looking for and when we left Walmart dh was complaining how it looked like rain (he needed to change the oil in his car) so we did not stop at the place in Hollywood. They did have a sign that said Adirondak chairs starting at $69 so hopfully in the next few days I can get out there again and see.

I was at the Amish farmer's market in Charlotte Hall yesterday afternoon and one of the Amish families had one up with Horse heads carved into the backs of the seats. It was 2 chairs with the table in the middle all built together, pretty awesome looking if you like horses. You may check there on Saturday (I don't know if they are open on Thursday or Friday). I forget the price because it isn't what I need, but I know they would last forever. You may be able to ask them about making something for you too.

Yeah, sometimes it's just easier to shop without the hubby. I've been starting to look around a little for ideas of what to put on our small front porch. We won't spend too much time out there but it looks so empty right now and I've always liked these chairs. Hope you find what you're looking for at a decent price.
