now thats funny....

I personally dont like to be tailgated either, but i jst slow down a little if it is bothering me.

on the other hand, i was behind a stupid little girl one afternoon heading over the TJ bridge in traffic doing about 5 MPH, and the little dummies first slammed on the brakes, then stopped on the bridge adn turned around to yell at me and flip me off. then when i got to the otherside and traffic opened up, i went to pass her on the dual highway and she cut me off just to stay in front of me. i laughed and then moved over to pass her again, she cut me off a second time. I ended up taking the back road so i didn't get into an accidetn with some idiot that thought i was too close when we were in bumber to bumber traffic barley moving.

My thoughts exactly....

I was following behind the person in front of me.... using the 2 second rule... we were averaging 50 MPH....

Tailgater came roaring up behind me....

She wouldn't have hit me when I tapped the brakes the first time... quick tap was a little jolt but not enough to cause a wreck... warning... second time... I figured that's what she wanted....

I would have squirted her with washer fluid but I have mine adjusted not to go over the roof on the Nissan... and she was close enough I didn't want her to be distracted....

I didn't mention that she was weaving from one side of the lane to the other.... maybe she had to go to the ladies room....

She went north on 235... y'all be careful... she might just roll up on you....

I drive EXACTLY 30MPH (the speed limit) on Hamilton Road. Horns go off, fingers fly and cuss words are uttered. Once I pull off, they speed up to about 60-70 MPH. It's absolutely uncalledfor the way people drive down that road.

Evidently.

If they are THAT close, why risk making a thousand other drivers angry by stopping traffic completely on a bridge to prove your point by causing an accident.

I'm just a bit over the "Dear person in the white car" threads about how people drive.

Not me! I love the how people drive threads! Maybe because I am always complaining to my huband how people drive--either ridiciously slow and obnoxious OR way to crazy aggressive-- and how I should have my own road.

Then don't open them....

Oh... and I wasn't on the bridge when I tapped my brakes.. now that would have been dangerous...

Tapped 'em in Solomons.... slowed down at the St Mary's County sign...

She was looking for a way around you.

Your the idiot here. I would've just pulled to the shoulder once I got off the bridge and let her pass. It's not worth getting pissed off about or getting in an accident over if somebody's that hard up about getting around you. You never know what some of these crazy drivers are going to do.
