Ya know it is really pathetic when a home owner has to chose plants for the lawn based on their thieverability or lack thereof. I thought stealing plants was bad until I read about the people stealing the sheds and gazebo from the property down in Ridge. What is the matter with people???

Just remember to adjust your salt quantity down. Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of why I only use Pickling Salt in my canning recipes. The additives in Table Salt and the minerals in Sea Salt will turn canned goods dark and cloudy. Pickling Salt measures true and keeps my foods clean and clear. | |

Can't find it although I am thinking that it may have been pulled because the person who talked about the items being alledgedly (sp) stolen also named names and gave the addresses of those he felt had stolen the items. That sort of unfounded info would be libelous for SOMD and since I can no longer find it anywhere in the fourms I will bet that it was removed in it's entireity.

That does not make sense That does not make sense. I did not read the names and would not agree that they should be posted. Still--the names were posted after the thief. I replanted and replanted. Without result from the first year I have moved in. I had a wonderful garden at my previous address. I trusted the neighbor because he accused the people next door to him. Only recently there are to many blatantly obvious coincidences growing in his front yard. I can't see his back yard. I suspect there are as many coincidences growing there. He was friendly and we have done a number of things for one another. I put the signs up yesterday. I suspect he knows I mean him, because I was so surprised he had Astilbe. The colors that I planted on two occasions. (Then there was the clematis, black eyed susans, rose bush--bright red, this list goes on. There are day lilies which are common but there are so many varieties (unusual to see the same). My irises, but I gave him some bulbs. The daffodils, mums. All are very common but the colors are those I have selected, purchased and worked to plant in my yard. Even bags of dirt and mulch, I have lugged home and distributed into my gardens during the fall where removed.) He pointed the finger and I believed him. Yes, the fart still stinks. Yes, I am angry because I did step in it!--in my yard. I don't even own a dog! Last edited by SMresident2 : 06-09-2008 at 07:17 PM.

Life grows on. Well, its time to quit complaining about it. I do hope the signs are enough. They are going to have to be for now. The good news--my son brought a his first home. It's so exciting for them. He was married a year ago February. It is the same feeling I had when I left him in kindergarten. The two of them sitting in the empty house (with a nice garden in the front.) He is going to go through so many changes. The house needs some work. But, they are so happy. Me--I am glad he is going to be a bit closer to my home. They are near finished painting and the carpet arrives on Friday.

Japanese Maple They have a nice Japanese Maple, plenty of nice bushes and a small garden pond. He has played around with bonsai trees in the past. For this reason, I believe he appreciates his new garden and will take care of things.

Petty crime or major crime ... it's still crime in CRE.
