I just don't understand. The way I'm picturing it now, you would be splitting the space in 2 with every spoke.

Example:
0 spokes = 1 space (just the circle)
1 spoke = 2 spaces (circle split in half)
2 spokes = 4 spaces
etc

Am I picturing something wrong? (now I don't even know how I got "20" as my answer )

Draw a circle, cut the pie with two lines from top to bottom, and left to right, that's four spokes, now count the pie pieces, those are your spaces.

I just came to that conclusion. each spoke is only 1/2 of the entire line. I was figuring a spoke = 1 line, the entire diameter of the wheel, not just the radius. Thanks for the help
