I had the same thing with Dr. Naini - he did a nice job on the surgery I guess, but couldn't explain continued bleeding. Kinda just threw his hands up and said "get a complete hysterectomy if you don't like the unpredictable bleeding". I thought that was rash and too quick to go to that extreme. Glad I didn't follow his advice - I just found out I'm pregnant! I am switching Ob/gyn's. Two Calvert memorial Hospital Rn's told me NOT to go to him and recommended another doc.

I loved his bedside manner, but got frustrated that he couldn't tell me what was wrong after two surgeries. He seemed VERY quick to recommend surgery and VERY commonly diagnoses endometriosis with surgery as the only option. Both my husband and I felt he was recommending surgery very quickly.

I would recommend getting a second opinion. And, trust your gut instincts.
