You're thinking of Patuxent Beach Rd. Patuxent Point Parkway is the light by CVS in Solomons.

The traffic was actually very smooth. I went through just as the helo was landing on the Northbound side. They had cops directing traffic onto both service roads, so the backup was only a couple hundred yards. to the cops for helping traffic move well.

The first crash used to be a red 'vette convertible. The front end was mangled. I couldn't tell what they hit, but they hit hard.

The only problem I am seeing with the forums is the ads never finish loading.

Yes, left at the first light after you cross the bridge is Patuxent Point ...

There used to be a LOT of accidents there before they put in the turn lights.. just prior to installing the lights I believe it was an 80 year old man that was killed taking a left into Asbury. Not much has happened there since they put in the lights.

I clicked on a thread earlier and I could only see my av and none of the quote buttons would show up. It's just really slow loading now.

That was after the light was installed. I remember that one because I was stuck in that backup.

I lived there at the time, and sat through the meetings with the Sheriff's office and the county asking for the light to be installed..

They'd been asking for YEARS, they being Asbury and Patuxent Point, and with that accident they finally did something.. There may have been a another fatal there after the fact, but I wasn't living there then.

Becky, you got that all screwed up. From the Thomas Johnson Bridge to Prince Frederick you are driving on the Louis L. Goldstein Highway. The service road is H.G.Trueman Road from St.Leonard to Lore Street in Solomons. From Lore Street to the end of the island it is Solomons Island Road..

As an aspiring politician its important to get things right!

Ah, but the mailing address for those on rt4 is Solomons Island Road, even south of Prince Frederick.

Is the road actually named the "Louis L. Goldstein Highway" or is the highway dedicated to Louis L. Goldstein? I really don't know I'm just asking.
