| Seriously though, how about the Calvert County Sheriffs' Department. They are always recruiting for officers or correctional officers. I'd check with them in person and with my resume. Sounds as though you are looking for a career instead of just a job. |

| He doesn't want a job or a career. Especially not one he'd have to work at. He thinks he's "owed" things. |

| I grew up in Philly. Then I moved to the suburbs of Philly. Then I moved to rural Calvert County. I have an apartment in P.G that I use during the school year. When I moved here, I remember being amazed by the fact that we had actual DEER running through backyards and, much to my mother's horror, bats and snakes that could be seen on a daily basis. I love being close to things, but I also enjoy nature. The "problem" with Calvert is that it is not concentrated, so you need to drive to most places. It can be difficult to get a job if you cannot afford a car. I'm assuming you're a teen as you're saying that you wished you could move back to P.G, implying that you have no real choice as to whether you stay here or not. Try making a lot of phone calls...there are many jobs in Lusby, they're just not all advertised. BTW, I had friends in high school who worked at the Frying Pan...not the best place to work. You CAN find cooler, cleaner kitchens and get a job as a cook for about 11/hr to start if you have a little experience. Try Issac's at the Holiday Inn (I know it's Solomons).

| Alot of others too!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are many people out here that feel the way I feel about this place. Most of them were born and raised here belive it or not. They are just to scared to speak on it the way I do. BUT MORE AND MORE ARE COMMING FORWARD. Watch and see this is only the begining and until things change out here for everyone this is how its going to be. Soon you are going to see BLACKIE bumper stickers and T-SHIRTS then these ignorant ass yokals will see just how many people think so highly of this county. You would be blown away by the number of people who feel like I do. I was and still am. SO IF YOU FEEL LIKE I FEEL THEN STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT ITS YOUR CONSTITOTINAL RIGHT OR IS IT ANY MORE? Tell people how you feel and dont worry about the people who against you because to them as long as they have good jobs and money and cars the problem don't exsist. But take that #### away and watch how fast they start to wine ##### and complain..... I don't even know what a constitotinal so how can it be my right??? I'm going to tell you what I tell my kids (who are obviously smarter than you because they have ways to earn money and one is only 14) when they try to blame things that is THEIR fault on someone or something else..... "Go to the bathroom and look in the mirror and then tell me who you are really mad at!" Get it dumb dumb? |

| ... | He complains that the only things going in are food stores. then he complains that there are no jobs to be found.. here is what I might do if I was in his position. I would try to snag one of those grocery store jobs, maybe a night shift putting cans on a shelf if thats what they wanted me to do. then I would spend every damn dollar I made on an education. Nothing wrong or embarrassing about working a store like that, plus it pays well. problem is that the "man" is going to make you earn your keep and he is not going to put up with any crap or attitude. I wonder if he is man enough to hold in his comments long enough to use the store as a door to an education and a good job.
