P.G is very stratified, much like D.C. Certain areas are very nice with expensive housing while other areas are crime ridden dumps. While in Calverton and most areas of Laurel I feel safe, I pay more attention to my pocketbook while around Suitland metro.

I agree..My boyfriend lives near Calverton and while there are bad areas around, we know which shopping centers to go to which not to. I like Laurel, haven't had many complaints there. I'm from Calvert, it is a different atmosphere, but its all what you get used to.
