Stormwater Drain Help!

The drain on our pond was ruined in the storm and the pond is flooding into the woods. Anyone know who we can contact for help?

Is the pond on your property or is it the County's stormwater management pond?

If you're in a neighborhood, it's probably owned by the HOA. I know the 10 in my neighborhood are. It's up to the property owner to fix it.

If you're in St. Mary's, start by calling Public Works at 301-863-8400, press 0 for operator, and see if they can give you some idea of what to do or who to call or if they'll come take a look at it.

You in Lavender Estates off Rt. 6, they really went overboard with those stormwater ponds in there.

I would call the St. Mary's Soil Conservation District (301-475-8402 ext. 3). They should be able to assist you. If they can't, they'll be able to tell you who to call.

I was thinking about that, also. Ask for Bruce if you call SCS. I think that's his name......
