Thumbs down Comcast

I really hate these peeps....LOL

The cable box on my tv has caused the sound to cut out not once, not twice, but third time lucky. First time they reset the box, second time they replaced the box, third time was today and I am told that it's my tv. The tv is like 8 months old. I didn't take my anger out on the cable guy. What I did do was unplug and disconnect all the boxes in my house and waited like an hour. Reconnected everything and whatya know....the tv sound works again.

Please Comcast get some peeps that know how to do repairs coz if I can get something working then that is not saying much for your techs......

Yeah, but it actually sounds like it's the television in this case.

Nope just the HD TV.......the box on this one has the DVD player. After they replaced the box the second time it was fine. And now its doing it again, it has been out for several days. I disconnected all the boxes in the house and reset the one on the HD tv and it now works.......go figure

Does your HD TV have any USB ports?

Is there any other way to connect the cable box to the TV?

Have you tried looking at the TV manufacturer's webstie yet? There could be a firmware update that could resolve your sound issue.
