| Yes I agree it was rather small. I was disappointed in the fact only one vendor was selling steamed crabs. But the crabs were decent and considering how early in the season it is I was mildly surprised. Miss Maryland was okay and I thought it was special that she attended and ate crabs. It was the first time a Miss Maryland has attended the crab festival. Yes, the cars were the highlight of the event. Unless you count Stuart the mule who went crazy at one point in time. I do believe the weather impacted not only the crowd (as in numbers) but the whole atmosphere of the event. My biggest complaints are: Not enough crafts and vendors. Prices were okay, some good some bad. I think the lady selling the dip spices was one of the most popular. Inside the pavillion where people were eating the crabs (not the same as the band was playing) showed the true colors of some people. There were very few fans inside but yet instead of being kind and considerate to everyone, the people turned the fans to themselves as they sat down. Bottom line: I feel it was a good small event with the potential to grow into a really big thing. Personally, I think this type event would be good for the Sept/Oct timeframe but between the county fair, oyster festival it may not be possible. |

| I just realized that this is in this forum. I'll refrain from posting the rest of my thoughts. |
