How old is your little guy? I thought about getting a toddler play set, but mine would be bored stiff with the toddler play sets in no time and she's only 2. Maybe because she plays on the big kids play ground at daycare she's just not entertained by the toddler stuff, I don't know. Even the play area at the mall bores her, she would rather visit with the babies.

I got my 2 year old the wet and dry play stand from Step 2 for her birthday. She loves water and sand so hopefully she will enjoy this, her birthday is this Friday so we are going to set it up this weekend. And I can put it on the deck and let her play outside at her leisure.

He'll be 4 but he's almost the size of a 6 year old.

I would think he would like a normal playset better then a toddler set. My daycare has one of those Amish built sets and all the kids play on that just fine, and it's probably cheaper then the toddler stuff. Daycare's is similar to this, but it has wide steps for the kids to go up for the slide and the slide is shorter.

Good luck finding something.

Have you tried Craigslist or ebay? If you don't mind it being a little used that may be your best bet for that type of play equipment.
