Point me in the right direction if you can.

I am fairly new to Calvert. I moved here to provide a more peaceful life for my wife and kids. Durring the short time I have lived here I have been layed off from my job and gone through a divorce. I have joint custody of my kids and do everything I possibly can to teach them values and right from wrong. I am looking for a good job or career to continue on with my life but am having trouble finding a job. I like it out here and the schools seem to be far better than the ones I attended when I was a kid. The idea was to give them everything I never had. I have looked online and my resume is all over Calvert and St Marys but I still have not been sucessful in my search. I guess I am asking if anyone can point me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Didn't know if you got the memo but we found out recently that Calvert sucks, same goes for St. Mary's and Charles County too.

We the people of Southern Maryland are corn chuckin fat azz rednecks (and a bunch of other negative stuff).

I hear PG county is nice

What are your skill-sets? Do you have a resume ready??

I think if you let us know what you would like to do within your abilities some of us here can point you in the right direction.

I know a law firm in Prince Frederick that is looking for a receptionist. Please give me specifics as to your skills.

Thank You
to visit a local church...get your kids in a Summer Camp program,...build some connections there. Pastors around here may be able to open a number of doors for you....and give you some sound encouragement.
