I can't believe they want to build anything in this economy.

Lost the stars when WallyMart was built.. And they already use Spruce Drive as a shortcut to bypass a light or two on 235... 'Specially when 235 is backed up headed for the bridge.

In all the years I have lived here, I don't think anyone has ever lived in that house. At least it appears that way.
There was someone living in it when I moved here in '94, then it was an office, then abandoned. Hasn't been anyone there in years now.

They will probably be torn down like they did with the general store. An older couple lived there for years. She died years ago and the husband was in the nursing home before he died a couple of years ago. They left everything to St. John's Church or the archdioses, not sure which. I guess St. John's sold it to the developer's.

I thought the barn was on the historical roster or something like that.

They are not trying to build low cost housing - the guy wanted to have it rezoned commercial a year or two back and failed. I suspect he wants the same thing this time.

Ok, why not have it made into a big park?

Everyone always wants more stores but not next to them.
They have to go somewhere!

Where is that 'shopping center coming soon'?
The trailer folk refused to sell on the corner?
