A parent who is involved and interacts with their child should be able to read their child and know when too much pressure is being applied and throttle back. Just like explaining something 2 different ways, look for other ways to teach something that if frustrating...

Sometimes kids don't need help, just support, praise, or getting the parents to their schools during an open house or teacher day to see their accomplishments. If they feel you don't care, why should they. Kids are like parrots, they will follow your lead!!!
