I prefer heavy metal. What I like to hear on 97.7 is the classic metal and some of the modern rock.

Metal Head. I like that. I like the older Metallica. And Justice For All was great, then the black cd was ok. After that I dont like their stuff anymore.

Agreed! They're supposed to be getting back to their roots but seem to be taking FOREVER on getting a disk put out.

Metallica is awesome. So are the Stone Temple Pilots. Godsmack is one of my very favorite bands.

way too much 80's junk!! i guess he is just catering to the local population. ill agree with it would be great to live the rest of my life without hearing that crap. it may have been cool then, but this is 2008. 97.7 needs more modern/new rock to include all the new genre's!!!!!!!

I have to disagree and say that 97.7 is my favorite station. I even listen online when I'm home.

I really dont listen to 101 anymore either. 98 rock is pretty good when you can get it in. All I listen to now is the rockett. If I loose that sation I will pop in a cd or listen to my Sirus.
