I don't usually follow the Olympics much but when the Americans win the gold it sure is cool to see Old Glory raised on Chinese soil and the National Anthem playing.

Our household has been following this year also and it is pretty cool when we win!!

I think it's great the Phelps has done as well as he has.
I really feel bad for our other swimmers though. Every time I saw an interview with a US swimmer it's, "Congrats on your achievments but how's it feel being there with Phelps." of course but still, they barely get praise or interviews on themselves. 5 Seconds into an interview it's all about Phelps, they don't exist anymore.

Why yes it is!!!

The first gold medal ceremony for Phelps the National Anthem got cut short by about 10 seconds (give or take.) My son said "that was a bit obvious huh Dad?" Who knows

What was REALLY AWESOME was seeing the 3 US flags going up for Women's Saber Fencing.

Especially the look on the Chinese athletes faces while they suck on their pacifiers!!!
