United Buying Service at CPFCU

Has any used the United Buying Service offered by the Cedar point Federal Credit Union? If so was it worth it? What did you buy? How was the experience?

My truck loan is with them, but it's not part of their UBS. Great people!

I used UBS over 10 years ago, and it worked great. The only issue was that you had to go to a certain dealership depending on what type of car you wanted. I had to go to Alexandria, VA. However, the car was $100 over invoice with no haggling or nonsense. I recommend you talk with the credit union to determine what the process is, but if it is the same, I'd recommend it. You are also not obligated to buy the car if you start the process. Good luck.

IMO buying services are for people who don't like haggling, or don't have the time.

I personally like to haggle, and I enjoy making car salesmen sweat a little. so I've never used one.

A few years back CPFCU had something called MVCP (Motor Vehicle Certification Plan), which I'm guessing; Cedar Point no longer uses or is affiliated with?
