Question School Bus Drivers on Cell Phone

Ok -- I have no children that ride the St. Mary's county school buses, however, I ride the roads from Ridge to the base every day and for the 4th day in a row at different times I have observed bus drivers on their cell phone while waiting to turn in the Ridge Middle School, while picking up kindergarters and while dropping of high school students. Am I the only person upset that bus drivers are putting your children in harms way by not paying attention to the road and the children on the bus??????

Correct me if I'm mistaken...but are you only seeing them on a cell phone while waiting in a line of busses or something to turn into school? I don't see how this shows anything about their on-road performance/actions

The driver on Long Lane (that's the road going to Gate 3 of the base) - the driver with the kindergarten children was driving at about 40 mph today. Yesterday morning driver arrived at Spring Ridge with the cell to her ear and waited until she could cut me off to turn into the school to drop the children off in the morning -- basically, what I'm saying is - it doesn't matter if they are waiting in a line to turn or stopped to pickup/drop off children on the roadway -- they are directing their attention to the phone conversation rather than the road and the children --

Long Lane is a street in Cedar Cove. Hermanville ends at Rt. 5. Forest Park ends at Gate 3.
