Nope, wrong again. There are GUIDELINES that show roughly how much a child costs per month in connection with what the combined income of the parents are.

You bottom statement was true. The point of the OP was, the non custodial that pays support gets to deduct that support while the custodial does not get to deduct the financial obligation of the same child.

I am familiar with the process. If his prior obligation is an expense, why isn't the mothers? Granted, she may receive support for the other child, but she also has HER share to pay for that child as well.

Right, and that was figured in when the CS for that child was calculated.

Just like you can't go back to the first child's father and get your CS increased because now you have an additional expense of a second child.

The point was and my situation is a great example (we'll pretend he pays cs like ordered). If Thing 1's dad has another kid and is ordered to pay support, his cs from Thing 1 will be deducted from his income off the break. If I go for support for Thing 2 I will not be allowed to deduct my financial obligation for thing 1 off my income at all.

There is a worksheet that shows what each parent is responsible for financially. The non custodial gets to deduct that obligation off any furture cs cases but the custodial does not.

If child lives with mom, than dad pays $600 a month and mom certainly can't pay herself. If dad has another baby with someone else and they split his income is figured deducting that $600 a month but if mom does the same thing she does not get to decrease her income by $400 a month.
Now what if the dad pays $600 a month for daycare and carrys the childs health insurance, bought all the childs school clothes and has the child equal amount of days during the month. The mother lives with someone rent free and has no extra expenses other than food for the child. There was a seperation agreement that they both signed stating that as long as the father pays daycare and carrys health insurance she doesn't want child support. Now almost a year later she changed her mind and thinks she can get him for some more money because she needs money herself. The dad already pays everything for the child now and like I said has her just as many days in a month as the mom. Would she have a case? Can she get awarded child support? And if she did, would she be responsiable for daycare then?

Child support is counted as income. Since we knew you would lie about it and not claim it you are not able to count it as an expense
