I would be happy just to receive child support from my child's father. He is 4,435.00 in the rear. Which is stupid because he was only ordered a 100.00 a month at first? Then I went back to court I was working 2 jobs, paying for insurance, clothing everything which I don't mind and they upped his child support to 298.00. Well needless to say he still isn't paying that I have offered him a way out by letting my husband adopt her and he refuses. Well see how it goes now that he has another baby and one on the way.

walmart pharmacy is such a hassle. if you value your time, or can't go on off hours then stay with mail order.

It's easy to trash him on here, but remember, you picked him. And it's called arrears, not in the rear.

when i was in court for my divorce (march 07) my ex asked for tax credit for one of our kids for the 07' taxes... at first i balked like he was crazy! BUT, my lawyer advised that judges now days are open to giving equal rights to claiming dependents on taxes... that might be good that i give up the tax credit for this one year as that was all he was asking for (to make up for the mortgage he paid for the 1st three months of 07') instead of taking the chance that he'll ask for divided tax credits until they turned 18... so that's what we did. He claimed one, i claimed the other. However, i think i got burnt for the $300 2008 Stimulus rebate...that was for THIS year, not last... anyways...i decided it wasnt worth the hassle/debate to even mention that check shouldve been mine... what's $300 vs. no-winning debate... anyways... another friend of mine got divorced in 06'... they have 3 kids... one year he claims 2 kids, she claims one and the next year he claims 1 and she claims 2. nothing set in stone - it's all part of the "parenting agreement" the courts make you have written up and if you cant "agree", the judge will decide - and it's not given that the custodial parent gets to claim all the kids. one year vs. the next 10-14 yrs of being able to claim both kids works for me...i say i won that one!!
