Scanner peeps...motorcycle accident in PF

My daughter called and said there's an accident involving 13 motorcycles anyone have any info? We followed them across the bridge earlier this afternoon. Prayers for their safety.

I posted in another thread, if this is the same one, happened at Ball Road and Rt. 4. I got the scare of my life on that one, my hubby was out on his bike and I knew he was in that general area at that time.

OMG 13? I hope your daughter is mistaken! Any number is bad but 13. GOD!There were a lot of bikes around the Solomons area today- all day.

About 40 minutes ago, I saw an ambulance come out of the area near Lake Lariat and Trooper 7 landed at the airport about 10 minutes later. Since I have been home, I haven't heard anything because the scanner is on low.
I have the feeling it is going to be a busy weekend for all the fire stations, EMT's etc.

I hear sirens right now (am on the airport CRE)

I hear sirens too. I have my windows open and it smells like something is burning.

I didn't hear that call, but I heard from a friend there were 40 bikes total, two groups of 20 that met up on Rt. 4. I saw a lot of bikes out today, there was a bike show at the Dunkirk fire dept and I saw a lot of bikes leaving that as I was coming home from work.

Burn ban was lifted, you can burn between 4pm and midnight now so that might be it, I don't hear anything about fire on the scanner. I smell leaves burning, but that's a given on the weekend this time of year.

Did you attend the open house today? I was working but it was a gorgeous day for it and I hope everyone had fun. My hubby is not home from doing flight instruction but I am anxious to hear how it went!

I was sort of listening to the scanner around that time and there was a
call in the Ranch Club for a man with a fish hook in his eye.
