It's that time of year... remember last year at this time? Tons of accidents.. mostly teens. The accident with the teens from yesterday was on the news tonight.. and they brought up all the accidents from last year.

My oldest will be driving in 4 and a half years.. scares the hell out of me

I drove over 1000 miles this weekend alone thru some of the worst parts of Long Island, New York City and New Jersey. Didn't see an accident of any kind this whole weekend, until I started reading the forums. I am in awe at what happens around here.

Kinda like driving in Europe. The only time there is a bad accident, they haul out the meat wagon.

Pictures of the accident are on the Prince Frederick VFD's website, the 2 drivers have to have some very serious injuries looking at those vehicles, looks like very hard headon impact.

We were stuck pretty much for about a hour and a half. Drove .2 miles in that timeframe.
