I am quite embarressed by our family when it comes to the ice cream lady driving by our house. We immediately all run out and wait for her. If by chance, we don't hear her, she will stop at our house and wait for a minute or two for us. We must look like

to her. To make matters worse, she already knows our order and starts getting the stuff out before we even have to say anything.

When we lived on Afton St. his name was Sam, Sam Sam the Good Humor Man. The icecream people around here are scary, just not the same as the Good Humor Man.

They are still coming around our neighborhood occasionally, my granddaughters love them .......one of the few innocent pleasures of childhood still available.

Ah, the Good Humor Man. His name was J.J., an elderly gent with white hair and not many teeth.

Our current Good Humor man has a crew cut, muscle shirt and tattoos. He drives like a bat outta hell and almost took out my kids when he swung into our driveway one day. Let's just say, my kids will not be buying from him unsupervised.

We also have a Hershey's ice cream truck that comes by sometimes...in fact, it was here just this past weekend.
