I have a large 14" x 11" b&w family photo - Need to get some more photo print copies suitable for framing, for xmas presents.
Anyone know where I can get this done local?
Southern Md area (I live in Leonardtown)
Cost not as important as Quality.

Was the photo done by a studio (i.e. copyrighted or trademarked)? If not, and you are really concerned about quality, I would probably head somewhere like Ritz Camera (St. Charles Mall 301-843-4900). There are also several local studios that take photos but I don't know if they do reproduction work. Staples has a print and framing section (I think) and so does Michael's. Don't know if they do the reproduction work or not. I'm sure some of the forumites from the photography area here will be chiming in!

I have copied some nice pics at cvs.

do not know if it will take 11x14

I had some done at Staples and believe it or not, they came out vey nice...

any copy shop can do it for you to whatever specifications you have.
shouldnt be able to tell the difference between the original and the copies.

I work at a copy and print shop in Prince Frederick. You want to do that picture on a color copier, rather than a black and white. It will come out clearer. I have many different papers, and can make it come out as clear as the original. Call my store at 410-535-2125 between 8:30 and 5, M-F. I'll be happy to help.

I would go to Hill Top Graphics in Leonardtown. Carol Davis does an amazing job with cool stuff like that and she can even enhance the photos. She's done some work for me with many projects. Good luck.
