Comcast phone problems???

Is anyone else having problems with their phone? This is the second time in a month that my phone has stopped working. The first time, the base for my cordless just completely stopped working. The phone part still worked, but the base would not light up like it was charging or page the phone. We bought a new phone and now it has stopped working just like the last one. The second phone is a different brand than the first one, so its not like it was a crappy brand. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having issues with our Comcast phone service also, for about at least an hour. Hubby asked why I didn't answer the home phone and I said, "because it didn't ring". Now my friend just called my cell phone and also asked why I didn't answer at home. I then realized that I don't even have a dial tone here. Cable and internet, also through Comcast, are working fine.

Good thing there are no leaves on the trees right now because once spring is here, our cell service is useless at the house too.

The same thing happened to me. I tried to call my husband at home several times, but he didnt answer. Internet and TV is working fine, but phone is not. Do you have a cordless? If so, is the base working?

The phones are working again here. Hopefully, yours are too.

I highly recommend Verizon for landline service. Comcast knows nothing about telephone cable... how to get you back in service. They really if your phone goes out.

I haven't had any problems with mine... it's been 2 years...

I had vonage... it was unreliable... the equipment kept going bad....

I had verizon... they couldn't get the bill right... they were always allowing others to take over my long distance when I was on a family plan... they claimed that someone in my house was calling international... yeah right!

I would suggest you call comcast and have them come out... if your phone isn't working, use a cell phone or a friend's phone... They will get it straightened out quickly because it's a safety issue....
