Not so compassionate (or smart)cop....

Monday AM, I spot a cop at Dares Beach RD and rt 4, hovering over a wounded deer. I later find out that he shot the poor beast in the gut, and had to get assistance to dispatch the poor critter. MONDAY!! Now Thursday PM and the carcass is still there. You would think a cop would have enough sense to call the proper disposal personnel.....guess not.

I'm surprised he didn't butcher it right there. He probably got busy doing something less important like catching criminals or saving lives.

Don't you hate it when the real world intrudes on your safe little sheltered existence where meat grows in packages on the grocery store shelf?
