One should not desire to eat such creature that lives in it's own toilet and eats sea crap...

Then I guess I shouldn't mention how sweet they are from Peconic and Moriches Bay on Long Island. And the bestest most sweetest bay scallops you ever had.

Up there it's legal to take crabs at night, so we'd take the boat out and scan the top of the water with a bright light for them as they swim along the surface. Quick scoop and in the boat.

I think the bad experiences I have had with river crabs, they have been from the South River and up north in that area....Just aren't sweet, kind of taste "dirty".

THAT was one of those Guinness Book of World Records for GREAT Days days.

The crabs, the beers, the weather, the view, the company. We got there for lunch. Wasn't it dark when we left?

The mobsters got that law passed. If you're out there anyway, may as well do some crabbing...

What, like it's better to eat something that wanders around in the mud all day, pissing and crapping itself and being otherwise udderly useless?

Crabs do good works and taste great! And are good for you!

NOWAY river crabs are the best-- most bay crabs taste nasty and most river crabs are sweet, at least to me- but the best have to be from st. leonard area not bendict.
