Total Fitness Gym in Prince Frederick Do any of you ladies work out at Total Fitness for Women in PF? Guys, do you know women who go there? I need to get back to the gym. Baby boy just turned 3 months old and I really miss working out. I miss the energy going to the gym gives me. Working out at home sometimes happens, sometimes doesn't. I can't seem to let laundry, yardwork or cleaning wait at all. Before I know it, it's time for bed and I've missed working out for the day again. I need a gym close by that offers childcare, otherwise I'll just keep using my son as an excuse to not work out. I'm going to check the gym out later today, it looks pretty decent online. The fee is great and it looks like they have a lot of good classes as well as a good amount of cardio equipment. Any feedback on the gym would be appreciated. TIA!

I would need classes early early morning, one in the afternoon and right after work... and they offer them in between those times.... I work over in that area and contemplated joining... but chose not to because the classes wouldn't do me any good...

This is a bit off topic but is there a gym for women that offers childcare in St. Mary's? I know Maximum does but that's pretty crowded most of the time. I don't know what other ones do. Good for you for getting fit! I am getting my a$$ in gear here lately too

Thanks for the replies. I went to check it out & it looks pretty decent. My main concern was that there is childcare available. Otherwise I'd never be able to get to the gym, with hubby's crazy work hours. As for it not being packed, good. I'll be able to get to the equipment I need quickly, work out & get out. I hate gyms where I have to wait or where I have someone waiting for me to hurry up because the place is packed. They are running a special - work out from now until the end of the year for $140 if you pay in full. Then it's $20 a month in 2010, with month to month billing. So the price is great. After reading jedi2814's post, I asked if I could just pay cash instead of using a card. Thanks fo the heads up, jedi.

Don't forget to ask for a month free... check it out... make sure it's what you want...
