I don't know if it's harassment but I was pulled over in 1996 by one of our locals (female) for having a Louisiana temporary tag on my car. I had just bought in New Orleans a few days earlier.

A Louisiana temp tag isn't really a "tag" like Md or Va has. It's just a small paper document that gets tapped on the inside of the rear window. She kept telling me that it needed to be installed where the licence plate goes. She was having a hard time accepting the fact that not every state does things the same way and that for once in her LE career she was wrong. Eventually she accepted that she was wrong but it took a while.
