No, I got news for you, I work with lots of females that carry guns and only a very small % are

But what you're saying does make some sense since it is my SO driving my vehicle everytime she makes the stop.

you should try reading all the other posts that explained that apparently difficult concept for you. selective reading doesn't get you anywhere.

Thank you very much. Some people just don't get the concept.

Right. You are an adult. Mother jokes? Please. I do get the concept, but it's b.s. So by what you are saying, because someone is on salary, they can take off any time they want for personal business because an employer can't charge a partial days leave. That's b.s. and you know it. I have worked salaried jobs as well as my wife has worked salaried jobs. You can make up whatever b.s. you want, but an employer is paying you to work, not run personal errands.

if they run personal errands at one point, it can be made up for at another. Think about it. If I need to go to court or do something that occurs during the day, but can't do partial leave days, does that mean I just can't do it at all? I have to take a full day of leave? No. People do it all the time. It's not like your employer doesn't know when you're not in the office.

When you come back the next day, you continue to work til the job gets done. If someone wants to say that they work 8 hours a day to get 40 hours a week (typical hours) and for 4 hours one day they were "paid" to sit in court, but then had to work 50+ hours in the week...well do the math. They weren't actually paid to sit in court, and if they count that, then there were 10+ hours (actually 14+) where they worked outside of normal working hours that weren't paid for. As long as the job gets done.

That is most correct.

If I need to take off, I make sure that my next in line supervisor knows where I'll be. My time entry reflects my actual at work hours and I go do what I need to do.

The big key here is that I am trusted to behave like an adult, make sure that my company gets from me what they pay for in services, work whatever additional hours are needed without complaint, travel where needed and provide quality support to my company and the customers we support.

If they are making the time up later, then they aren't getting paid for it are they? If they have to make the time up it is the same as taking leave.
