Route 4 Calvert County tonight 9-11

Anyone got info on what is going on along route 4? Son called, said there were officers at various lights, putting out flashers, signs, etc.
Crash, serious, somewhere??

There's a DUI checkpoint at Lower Pindell (technically Anne Arundel there, I think)

Border to Border Sobriety Checkpoints. Calvert County Sheriff's Office on northbound Route 4, just past Brickhouse Road. Anne Arundel County Police Department near Lower Pindell Road.

We were returning from Frederick last night and I was quite impressed as to how many officers were on the South bound side of Rt. 4 at the Calvert County line. They sure were loaded for bear. My windshield had a big crack across it from a stone thrown up on the beltway and the officers never even noticed it.
Now if you take all those officers and make them do good patrols in the areas where bars are I bet you would get a lot more drunks off the road. Nothing takes the place of a good patrol officer.
