Trash

I just moved to the county and live in Huntingtown, I see my neighbors burnning their trash. I was wondering if this is legal and if so what are the rules for doing it are there certin times of year you can and can't and are there things you can not burn or what.

Call the local sheriff's office. Each county has different ordnances on burning, so it is best to call and find out the most current information.

The only thing I know of in Calvert County is that there is no open burning. You can burn if it is contained. And watch during the summer, if the firehouse posts a no burning sign, they mean no burning at all.
