Has anyone ventured to Annapolis today?

My little girl and I had tickets to see the Nutcracker today in Annapolis. They cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow night (Monday) at 7:30. I was wondering if anyone made it up that far - esp curious on that narrow passage of Rt 2/4... I'd hate to miss the show, but I am more concerned about the slush refreezing...

Thanks!

not sure where you live exactly, but while Rte 2 to Annapolis might be snowed (I don't know), I have a feeling 4 would have been cleaned up. You could always take 4 to 301 to 50 and that'll bring you into Annapolis without taking much longer.

Thanks! Good idea!!!

I'm in Hollywood, so I could probably go either way... then again, I wonder if the roads in Annapolis are decent...

I just spoke to a friend in Annapolis and she said the roads are pretty bad in Annapolis and on Rt 2. I think they got about 22" of snow up there.

Was on Rt 2 headed south today around 1:00 p.m. There were a few tricky parts in the road with ice crunching under the tires for ~ 6 miles. But 3 plows were clearing and salting the north bound side. I am sure it will be fine tomorrow; the rest of the route was dry and well traveled.

Enjoy the show!

My sister lives right outside of Annapolis - She and her hubby have been out all day and she said the roads were just fine. She said some of the side roads in her neighborhood were a bit slushy but all in all okay.

Wife came back from that direction yesterday and said that 2 was a bit touchy in a few places between the high school and the round-about, but other than that, perfectly passable.
Enjoy the show.
