That is blatant BS. There are small minded bigoted types from all walks of life that use derrogatory terms. Just as you continue to do here.

Based on what I have observed I would say that the ones that use the "N" word the most are the very same ones that it is meant to insult. For some reason they don't consider the word to be insulting when they use it amongst themselves.

But in asking out of curiosity I wonder if those same people are the ones who cant figure out why blacks call each other the n word but get mad when others do it. Are SMIBS the same way?

I have never heard it used in the same fashion as some African-Americans use the "N" word. There may be a handful that do it, anything is possible, but as far as I know it is not used as a term of endearment.

I too have many friends that descend from the original settlers, but I call them locals, being a transplant myself.
